Personal data
Protecting your personal data
KAZI TOUR processes your personal data in accordance with Law No. 18-07 of 10 June 2018 on the protection of natural persons in the processing of personal data, under the supervision of the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP). This page says what we collect, why, who has access to it, how long we keep it, and the rights the law gives you.
Last updated: 15 September 2026.
Who is responsible for the processing
- KAZI TOUR, a transport and courier company in Algeria, is the data controller within the meaning of Law No. 18-07. Any question about your data can be sent to the address at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
- Your identity: first name, last name, phone number, e-mail address and postal address.
- To open an account from the app: both sides of your national identity card, its number and your national identification number (NIN). They are used to check that the account is really being opened by you, before it is activated.
- Your shipments: the parcels sent and received, the recipients you enter, and the amounts paid or collected on delivery.
- Your use of the app: the device you are signed in on and the notifications you accept, so we can tell you where a parcel is.
Why
- To open and manage your account and to verify your identity before activating it — which preventing fraud on shipments and cash-on-delivery payments requires of us.
- To perform the transport contract: carry your parcels, keep you informed, collect and pay you the sums you are owed.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations, and requests from the authorities entitled to make them.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising on behalf of third parties.
Who has access
- KAZI TOUR staff who need it for their work — the agent who checks your card, the one who handles your parcel — bound by confidentiality, with named access limited to their role.
- The sender or the recipient of a parcel, as far as it concerns them: your name and phone number, needed for the delivery.
- The authorities, where the law requires it.
- Your data is not transferred outside Algeria without the authorisation provided for by Law No. 18-07.
For how long
- Your account data, for as long as the account is open.
- The images of your identity card and the numbers on it: for the time of the check, then with your customer file for as long as the account is open, because they establish the identity of the person who signed the transport contract.
- Shipments and money movements: for the statutory retention period of commercial and accounting records, even after the account is closed.
How we protect it
- Your data is stored on servers under our control and encrypted in transit; the images of your card can only be reached through signed, short-lived links.
- Staff access is named, limited to what each role requires, and logged.
Your rights
- To access the data we hold about you, and obtain a copy of it.
- To have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected — your profile in the app lets you do that directly for most of it.
- To object, on legitimate grounds, to a processing, and to withdraw your consent where it is the basis for one.
- To ask for your account to be deleted; what we must keep regardless, and why, is explained on the dedicated page.
- To refer the matter to the ANPDP if you believe your rights are not being respected.
To exercise a right, write to us from the e-mail address on your account, or come to an agency with your identity card. We answer within the period the law provides.
